Defrosting — A New Season Begins

Hello everyone, and happy first day of spring!

We’ve officially made it to the other side - longer days, warmer air, and sun finally shining. Goodbye winter blues!

As the world around us slowly warms up, we’re defrosting too. Over the past few colder months, we’ve been a little quieter, taking time to reflect on our next steps. Creating a product, especially one as meaningful and intentional as what we’re building with Carnelia, is no small task. We realized that this project means too much to us to rush it. Every step deserves care, thoughtfulness, and attention.

That’s why we decided to slow down a bit. We took a break from socials, stepped back, and spent time re-aligning. And honestly, it was the best choice we could have made.

So… what’s next? What have we been up to?

We now have two near-final bra prototypes, and soon we’ll have the full sample set; this means we’re entering the next phase: testing! Having real people try our pieces will tell us whether we’re truly hitting our goals.

We also have the first prototypes of our bottoms! Our spring set will offer two styles: one more cozy and comforting, and one with a cheekier, playful twist. They’re still a work in progress, but we’re already a little bit in love.

And last but definitely not least, we’ve started designing the winter pieces! Our Naja has been sketching away, and we’re exploring fabrics, textures, and color palettes. It’s a super exciting phase, and we can’t wait to share more soon.

As for us, we’re simply trying to enjoy the journey, without stressing too much. Carnelia is too close to our hearts, and we want to build it with all the love it deserves.

Our hope is to create something beautiful, empowering, and meaningful, and we are so happy to bring you along as it all unfolds.
